Learning the detrimental impacts of deforestation at Mt Kilimanjaro forest for Charcoal production, and the availability of mountains of organic wastes in the city of Dar-es-salaam, we committed to a mission to replace wood charcoal with briquettes fuel. The purpose is to ensure every resident and factory in Dar es Salaam has access to affordable briquettes fuel. In 2012, the project was formalized as a company.
